”Future Folk” arrives at Genpact

Alumnus Club for UNESCO and GENPACT Romania present at Hermes Business Park, between 6 - 10 August, the “FUTURE FOLK” contemporary fashion design exhibition, signed by the designer Carmen Emanuela Popa. The Exhibition is part of the series of events organised within the “FUTURE FOLK” project, co-funded by the National Cultural Fund Administration, the Bucharest City Hall, through the Youth Centre of the Municipality of Bucharest, and the National Commission of Romania for UNESCO.
The project initiative is dedicated to the Centenary of the Union and is part of the 2018 European Year of Cultural Heritage campaign, proposing to contribute through art and fashion design to the awareness and revitalization of Romania's intangible cultural heritage.
The collection and the entire “FUTURE FOLK” project place the spotlight on the traditional costume of Romanians and national minorities from different parts of the country.
