On the National Day of Romania, starting with 18.00, we invite you to virtually watch the show of the National Theater "I. L. Caragiale" Bucharest, "Once upon a time in Romania", directed by Dragoș Huluba.
A show in which words mix with pantomime, step, music and refined gag. A story with simple people put in exceptional situations. Ordinary people, who grow up precisely because they manage to survive with dignity, love or humor the great turmoil in which history throws them. An exciting, provocative show, full of humor and nostalgia, about who we have been in these 100 years. What we thought, what we dreamed, what love, laughter, pain were like. A series of colorful or black and white slides depicting images from the lives of people in the world then and today. And maybe an answer to the questions of the youngest of us.
The show is performed under the auspices of the "Ion Sava" Theater Research and Creation Center.
