The National Commission of Romania for UNESCO is delighted to announce the premiere of the documentary titled "Marthe Bibesco, La Nymphe Europe" /"Martha Bibescu, Nimfa Europa". This film is a production by the Cultural Association "Heritage for the Future".
The documentary chronicles the significant phases in Princess Bibescu's life, offering viewers an insight into the varied political and cultural settings and luminaries of 20th-century Europe. It features archival footage and previously unreleased documents sourced both domestically and internationally, with some being showcased in Romania for the very first time.
"We are thrilled to share our documentary with the audience. Martha Bibescu stands out as one of Romania's eminent female figures who played a role in molding our national history," remarked Georgiana Pogonaru, the president of the Cultural Association "Heritage for the Future". She co-produced the documentary with Sorina Neacșu.
