Mathematics Day at the Theoretical High School ”Dante Alighieri” in Bucharest

In November 2019, the UNESCO General Conference approved the proclamation of Pi Day as International Mathematics Day. The theme for 2020 was "Mathematics is Everywhere".
Each year, a new theme will be announced to stimulate creativity and bring to light the connections between mathematics and various fields, concepts and ideas. The website

On this occasion, Gheorghiu Alexandru, Dobrin Andrei and Rocxoiu Mario, students of the Theoretical High School "Dante Alighieri" from Bucharest, made a project about the importance of this fundamental discipline that was the basis of human progress.
