Today, April 19, the new Secretary-General of the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO, Mrs. Madlen Șerban, had a working meeting at the Romanian Parliament with Mr. Mihai Weber, President of the Joint Permanent Commission of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate for the relationship with UNESCO. During the discussion, current issues were addressed such as the calendar of actions that will mark 65 years of Romania's presence at UNESCO, a better representation of our country in UNESCO, the promotion of national heritage worldwide, the promotion in Romania of UNESCO's values and principles.
We express our openness for collaboration with the UNESCO Parliamentary Commission, but also with other institutions in Romania and abroad involved in the Organization's mandates.
