The National Commission of Romania for UNESCO (Natcom RO) has the honor and pleasure to announce that September 21, 2021 marks 65 years since its establishment. The activity of Natcom RO records numerous achievements, in the spirit of UNESCO principles and values, of consolidating the UNESCO profile in Romania, as well as, simultaneously, of Romania's profile at UNESCO.
The history of the 65 years is very rich and diverse. The anniversary year 2021 is an opportunity to reflect on what it was, an opportunity to remind ourselves and remind the world of our millennial values and identity, to dialogue and act collectively for a sustainable world, in which communication and mutual respect for diversity is reached with the support of education, culture and science, to which equitable access is achieved for every citizen of the planet.
