During the 5th edition of the recently concluded MAGISTER National Forum, teachers of Romanian language, mathematics and English have had the opportunity to deepen the most important subjects in the educational field, in European and international contexts, within lectures delivered by specialists. The forum, held in 21 locations across the country, was structured in three parts:
– „School and family – the need for communion” conference;
– interactive presentations of the content and the use of illustrative works, by specialties, highlighting the most important aspects of methodology;
– awarding the diplomas of the contest „MAGISTER UNESCO”, held at county and national level;
The MAGISTER UNESCO contest is dedicated to teachers with skills and interest in fundamental issues in the areas of education, science and culture – the areas of UNESCO competence. The theme of this year’s competition was „Education for sustainable development. Social innovation initiatives in schools and lyceums „. The winning paper at national level was themed „Sustainable development strategy of a school institution” by Prof. Mihaela Ionescu from „Vasile Alecsandri” Theoretical High School in Iași.
The MAGISTER National Forum was organized by Niculescu Publishing House in partnership with County School Inspectorates, Teaching Staff Houses in Romania and the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO.
