The echoes of 'Golden Chrysanthemum' - 49th Edition

Between October 20-22, 2016, under the patronage of the National Commission of Romania for UNESCO, the 49th edition of the National Festival of Interpretation and Creation of the Romance song "Golden Chrysanthemum" took place in Târgovişte. The festival was organized by Târgovişte Local Council, Târgovişte City Hall, Dâmboviţa County Council, Dâmboviţa County Cultural Center and "Tony Bulandra" Theater Târgovişte, in collaboration with the Union of Composers and Musicologists in Romania, co-produced with TVR and in partnership with Radio Romania.
We enthusiastically granted patronage to the Festival, an example of continuity of the musical folklore manifestation, through the lyrical repertoire of the Romance song. We congratulate the organizers for the determination they make each year to keep this Festival in the top of the cultural events in Romania. NCR UNESCO was represented at the Festival by Iris Constantin, expert of the Commission.
