The National Commission of Romania for UNESCO launches the program ”Open Gates at NCR UNESCO”, II-nd edition

The National Commission of Romania for UNESCO organizes at its headquarters on Anton Cehov Street no. 8, during October 29 – November 26, the second edition of the biennial program "Open Gates at NCR UNESCO", where a series of educational - cultural projects will be launched, organized in partnership with UNESCO entities in Romania: photo and sculpture exhibitions, book launches, movie screenings, debates, conferences, artistic moments.
"Open Gates at NCR UNESCO" II-nd edition commemorates the Centenary of the Great Union in 1918 and marks the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018. The official opening of the program will take place on October 29 at 13.00.

Photo exhibition "Treasures of Romania", UNESCO heritage in Romania, signed by Ilie Tudorel, photographer - Millennium Association (October 29, 13.30 - 15.00, October 30 - November 2, 10.00 - 16.00, November 5 - 7, 10.00 - 16.00).

Following the program "Open Gates at NCR UNESCO", on the evening of November 27, there will be held the 3rd edition of the "Romania – UNESCO Gala", which will bring together the institutional partners of the National Commission of Romania for UNESCO, respectively representatives of ministries, local authorities, state institutions with UNESCO competences, as well as collaborators, personalities from UNESCO's areas of interest - education, science, culture, communication and information. Within the Gala, the opening of the exhibition and the launch of the film "Let's Love Romania!", project of the Ovidius European Cooperation Association, which proposes a trip through Romania’s national and universal heritage, will take place. Also, diplomas of excellence will be handed out to outstanding personalities from Romania who have contributed substantially to the development and promotion of UNESCO values locally and internationally. The Gala will be complemented by an artistic moment sustained by master Marin Cazacu and a dinner.
