The Romanian Geoparks have created virtual posters showcasing the traditions and crafts of their region in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Heritage. This project was organized by the National Forum of UNESCO Geoparks in Romania and the Romanian National Commission for UNESCO.
The initiative involved the participation of two international UNESCO Geoparks, namely the "Tara Hațegului Geopark" and the "Buzau County Geopark," along with the aspiring geoparks "Oltenia de sub Munte," "Carpaterra," and "Dobrogea Chimerica."
These posters were unveiled for the first time during the European Geoparks Week, which took place from June 5th to June 12th, 2023.
