Closing conference of the anniversary program ”Romania and UNESCO, bridges over time - 65 years since accession”

The closing conference of the anniversary program will take place online on Monday, December 20, 2021, from 11:00 to 12:30.
The Conference will be attended by the President of CNR UNESCO and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Joint Standing Committee of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate for Relations with UNESCO. The General Secretariat of CNR UNESCO, together with partners, will illustrate the anniversary program through initiatives in major UNESCO areas, which will continue to document educational and information programs on national and international heritage, projects aimed at the intelligent use of new technologies, experiences that contribute to the sustainable development of communities, as well as initiatives that can contribute to the Romania we want 100 years after joining UNESCO.
The anniversary program included a multitude of other initiatives that will be briefly mentioned, inter alia, conferences and round tables (on topics such as Romania's history in UNESCO, biodiversity protection, artificial intelligence ethics, tradition, established and aspiring geoparks, freedom of expression, religious freedom, human rights and fundamental freedoms), painting exhibitions, folk costumes and clothing design, theater and opera performances, radio shows, TV mini-documentary series, classical music festivals, drawing competitions.
